LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell Sunday for the 10th consecutive day, dropping 1.1 cents to $3.784.

The average price is 6.6 cents less than one week ago and 10.8 cents lower than a month ago.

The  price is still 63.4 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped 8.2 cents over the past 10 days, including 1 cent Saturday.

The Orange County average price also fell for the 10th consecutive day, dropping 1.2 cents to $3.763.

The Orange County average price is 6.4 cents less than one week ago and 10.9 cents lower than a month ago but 62 cents more than one year ago.

The average price in the O.C. has dropped 7.8 cents over the past 10 days, including 1.1 cents Saturday.

The price of gas also dropped in the Inland Empire. The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell to its lowest amount since Aug. 28 today, dropping a half-cent to $3.781.
